Mary was born in 1777. ^[1][2] She was a daughter of William Hazen ^[3] and Mary Hunter.

Baptism St Oswalds, Durham 2 Nov 1777 Mary Hazen [Hazle], of Brome [Broom], daughter of William Hazen [Hazle] (farmer) ^[4]

Marriage to Edward Bellerby ^[5] Kelloe, Durham ^[6] 23 Nov 1806 Edward Bellerby (of the parish of Kelloe) married Mary Hastings (of the parish of Kelloe Witnesses: Elizabeth Branson; Edward Dixon ) ^[7] , by licence ^[8], 22 Nov 1806 Edward Bellarby (yeoman, widower, of Kelloe) obtained a licence to marry Mary Hastings (age 21 & upwards, of Kelloe), directed to Kelloe Surety: Edward Dixon, yeoman, of Kelloe ^[4]

She passed away in 1853. ^[9][10]
