I was born in Covina, Los Angeles County, California. I have lived in the greater San Gabriel Valley my whole life. Both of my parents and two of my grandparents (one maternal and one paternal) were also born in Covina. Both sides of my family have lived in Covina, or the neighboring areas, since the early 1900's. Several of my genealogy lines go back to the Mayflower (9 separate passengers of the original 65) traced to four great-grandparents.

Hi Deb,

Not sure what happened ... It looks like Chet rejected it, then canceled that and merged 'em ...

Thanks for your note.

Hi Deborah, I was working on Waterman's and I thought I was looking at Josiah but my page flipped to Anthony. I corrected the changes I made to Mercy, Deborah and Bethiah and they are back to the way they were. Sorry, Janis

Deborah, you might want to check other profiles that you added, for middle initial that ended up as a last names. This might have been an unintended bad side effect of a GEDCOM upload/import.

Hi Deborah,

No connection that I know of; Velma Casteel Burke showed up on my watchlist, and I started looking at her relatives and in-laws. (I do have some Harbaugh cousins-of-cousins in my database from the Frederick, Maryland area, but they're likely a different family than yours.)

Sorry to be slacking in getting back to you, but I've had a busy 2 weeks since you're first request. I'll spare you details, but all of it's been good or fun. Coincidently, I and maybe some of my siblings will be out near you this year. I'm taking my grandson out to Irvine to visit his uncle/my son and his fiancé during the summer and some of the family will be there in the fall for their wedding. Anytime you need to update or modify a name, send me a request or if you'd like I can authorize you on all of the Overholtzer side. Russ
