Biography
When John Heagy was born on October 7, 1775, his father, Johannes Hagey, was 38 and his mother, Anna Slentz, was 24. He married Christina Ziegler in 1800 in York, Pennsylvania. In 1830, John, aged 55, resided in North Middleton, Cumberland, Pennsylvania. [1] In 1840, John, aged 65, resided in North Middleton, Cumberland, Pennsylvania. [2] In 1850, John, aged 74, resided in North Middleton, Cumberland, Pennsylvania.[3] They had four children during their marriage. He died on October 17, 1859, in Cumberland, Pennsylvania, having lived a long life of 84 years, and was buried in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.[4]
