In 1830, John, aged 55, resided in North Middleton, Cumberland, Pennsylvania. [1] In 1840, John, aged 65, resided in North Middleton, Cumberland, Pennsylvania. [2] In 1850, John, aged 74, resided in North Middleton, Cumberland, Pennsylvania.[3]
They had four children during their marriage. He died on October 17, 1859, in Cumberland, Pennsylvania, having lived a long life of 84 years, and was buried in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.[4]
