Henry William Healy was born 15 May 1847, in Weymouth, Massachusetts. He was the son of William Healy (abt.1825-1876) and Phebe (Hollis) Healy (abt.1825-).[1]

In 1850, the family is living in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Henry's father William is a blacksmith.[2]

Henry served in the Civil War. He was a private in companies I & K in the 1st Massachusetts Heavy Artillery. He enlisted 4 December1863, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, and was discharged 16 August 1865 at Fort Bunker Hill in D. C.[4]

On 2 March 1871, Henry married Theresa Young in Franklin, Massachusetts.[5]

In 1880, the family is living in Friendship, Knox, Maine. Henry is a fisherman.[6]
