Bridget (Healy) Lyons migrated from Ireland to Australia.
Birth
Bridget Healy was born in County Clare Ireland in 1840. She was the daughter of Laurence Healy and Honora Brody 1796–1890 [citation needed]
Australian Arrival
17 August 1855- Bridget Healy arrived in Australia aged 15 on the vessel "Maria Hay'. She travelled with Mary Healy (aged 18), Jane Healy (aged 16), and Anna (14) from County Clare in Ireland. They were assisted passengers, and Bridget appears to be 'bonded" to a person at Lake Muddy. Next to the youngest childs name it says "gone with parents'. They had departed from Southampton, England. Note: unable to see parents name on the manifest - so parents must have travelled out before the children.
Bridget Healy married James Lyons in Victoria in 1862. [2]
Death
Bridget Lyons died at Geelong in Victoria in 1919. Parents listed on the death index as Laurence Healy and Norah Broady.[3]
