Biography

Nathaniel Healy was christened 6 Feb 1658 at First Congregational Unitarian Church at Cambridge, Massachusetts. His parents were William Healey and Grace Butterice.

February 29 1676 served in King Philips war the battle of Great Swamp Massacre. Nathaniel Healy served under Captain Nathaniel Davenport & Captain Ting and is listed as wounded. Mass. Archives, vol. 68, p. 104. Info on battle[1]

He married Rebeckah Hager 14 Jul 1681 in Watertown, Massachusetts. They moved to Newton, Middlesex, Massachusetts about 1688.

He was a Wheelwright.

He made a will 4 May 1731 Newton, Massachusetts. He left estate to wife Rebecca; sons Ebenezer, John and Joshua; daughter Rebecca Thwing, Abigail Brackett, Mary Mayo, Martha Babcock, Lydia Avery, Hannah Young, and the children of his deceased son Samuel. He appointed his sons Ebenezer and John Executors. His estate was inventoried at 1233# 4s 9d.

Nathaniel died 2 Jun 1734 in Newton, Massachusetts and was buried at Westerly Burying Ground, Roxbury, Massachusetts.
