Greta, Thanks for the quick reply. My tree is very large . I broke it down to only my surname piece and uploaded that. To put the rest of my tree online, I can upload more parts of the tree? and I correct?

I have multiple dna test results that I manage. I have 3 YDNA that have been submitted for me on 3 different of my families as well as an Ancestry autosomnal. Do I enter them all?

I'm not sure how all this works together.

Thanks again.

Hi Dee,

Because of the way the messaging service works at WikiTree, we don't get notified about comments you put on your own profile. A greeter might notice it as we attend to our duties like I did but there's no guarantee. That's why it's recommended to use the reply link below comments if you have questions for one person. You can also use the G2G Forum for general and research questions.

Since I saw your questions, I'm going to answer. Yes, you can upload multiple GEDCOM files to work with. The GEDCOM file works differently at WikiTree, though, so profiles are not created automatically. One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that I found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

Regarding the DNA questions, you can add the information about the DNA tests you have personally taken. For others who took them at your request, if they are still living, they will need to have their own WikiTree account. You can read more about that in these FAQs

If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, let us know by using the "reply" link under our comments or by clicking our names to visit our profiles. From there you can leave a comment or send a private message.

See you in the branches,
