Biography
When Mary Alice Hearn was born on May 8, 1875, her father, Christopher, was 29, and her mother, Mary, was 27.[1] She married Dr. Coleman Pendleton Gay on April 18, 1897, in Randolph, Alabama.[2] They had nine children in 16 years. She died on April 7, 1962, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 86.[3]
