Catherine was born in 1823. She was the daughter and youngest child of Arnold Heath and Mary Skinner[1].
Catherine married Abraham Garrett on the 21st of September, 1841. It appears that the Garrett family was very wealthy. Abraham describes himself as a "Gentleman" in various documents over the years. Upon Abraham's death in 1894 he leaves behind the fantastic sum of £50670 13s 2d to be split between his widow and two close male relatives. It appears that Abraham and Catherine had no children of their own
Catherine passed away in 1902. In her own will she leaves behind £14210 15s 4d to her niece Anne Elizabeth Trowell then a 57-year old spinster[2] This again reiterates the fact that Catherine and Abraham had no children of their own. The amount represents the lion's portion of that left to her by her husband.
