Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one or more which best fit your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Than you for your message about your family.
If you decide to add the details of your family you need to volunteer first, as a guest you have limited access to the site. Volunteer means you add to the tree and are polite in communications.
Part of the process is to add tags add these one at a time
I would suggest you add
Tate
Heath
England
Under each tag as the comments you sent in your message.
I think it is great you have got back to 1580 as this period can be difficult to source.
Depending on research you could add Northumberland later
There is a section under the England project for all English counties.
To volunteer click on the word volunteer in the orange box it is under your name
Hope this helps you
Janet
