WEDDING
Cox — Heath
At St. John's Church of England on Saturday afternoon, September 25, at 4 p.m., the wedding was celebrated of Miss Jean Cox, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cox, of Bocoble, to Donald Lovell Heath, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Heath, of Crudine. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Laing.
The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was attired in lace over satin, and wore an embroidered tulle veil and a coronet of orange blossoms, which was worn by her mother. She carried a bouquet of arum lilies and hyacinth.
The bride's sister, Mrs. H. J. Gudgeon, carried out the duties of matron of honor. She wore a gown of white satin with pink accessories, and carried a bouquet of pink sweet peas.
Mr. H. K. Batty acted as best man.
During the signing of the register Mr. Bruce Armitstead sang "I'll Walk Beside You."
The reception was held in the Presbyterian Sunday School Hall, where the usual toasts were honored. Mr. Armitstead rendered two songs, "Bless This House" and "Smilin' Through." The happy couple received a number of telegrams, including a cable sent by Sgt. H. J. Gudgeon, who is serving with the R.A.A.F. in England.
The bride chose for her travelling outfit a navy tailored costume, with white accessories. The happy couple left by train for their honeymoon, which is being spent in Katoomba, Sydney and Wollongong.

Together they had 2 children.
