Biography
Isabella Heath is a part of US Black heritage.
Isabella was born before 1845. She was named in "Item 15th" of the will of William Henry Heath and was one of twelve slaves “and their increase” bequeathed to William’s wife, Mary Irons (Taylor) Heath. Two of the twelve slaves were to be kept in trust for William’s two daughters, Susan Frances and Addellar [sic], who were not yet married. (These two slaves were not specified by name. Presumably, they were to be designated by Mary Heath.)[1]
