Henry Heaton was born on 8 Jan 1831 in NJ, son of Abram Jansz Heaton (1794 - 1874) and Maria (Demarest) Heaton (1798 - 1876).

His siblings were:

  1. Elizabeth (Heaton) Foster (1833 - 1891)
  2. Martha (Heaton) Chipman (1836 - 1885)
  3. John Abram Demarest Heaton (1838 - 1922)
  4. Jane Heaton (1841 - )

Henry married Athalinda Pierce ( - 1858). Their son was Charles Heaton (1856 - 1907).

Henry married Eunice L Fairchilds (1838 - 1921) on 11 Sep 1859 in Kent County, MI. Their children were:

  1. Carrie Rosepha Heaton (1861 - 1938)
  2. Lottie Heaton (1863 - 1885).

Henry died on 19 Aug 1866 in Kent County aged 35. He is buried in Martin Cemetery, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
