James Alexander Heaton was born in March of 1859 in New Orleans, Louisiana. James's father Levi Heaton ... James's mother Sarah Martin ...

He married Angelina Isabella Percy on March 22 1886 when he was 27 years old. Together, they had 10 children - Clothilde, Celina, Angeline, James Milton, Lorenzo, Anita, Albertine, Milton James, Salome, and Raymond.

James Heaton passed away on Oct 13 1919.
