MILTON, Dec. 12 - MIss Meonie Hebert, 37. well-known, beloved school teacher of Milton died at her residence in Milton Wednesday night at 11:45 oclock after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at nine oclock. at a Requiem Mass at the St. Joseph Catholic church In Milton with Interment in the St. Joseph cemetery. A native of Milton, Miss Hebert was a graduate of Milton High School and Southwestern Louisiana Institute in Lafayette. She was the daughter of the late J. E. Hebert and Jeanne Clotlaux. Always popular with her pupils the deceased taught school at the Youngsville. Milton, Indian Bayou, Delcambre, and Erath High School where she became endeared to many. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Jack Anaerson of Milton, one niece, Jeanne Anderson, also of Milton. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Robert J. Guchereau with the First National Funeral Home of Lafayette.
