Louis (18) married his cousin, Felicite Celeste Landry (21) (born on January 20, 1786 in Saint Martinville, St Martin Parish, Louisiana; daughter of Olivier Landry and Marie Madeleine (Hebert) Hébert) in 1808 in St. Martinville, Orleans Territory, Louisiana. ^{[2] [3]}
