Catherine, the daughter François Hebert and Françoise Couillard, was born and baptized 15 May 1829 in Beauharnois. The parish register identifies her as "Catherine née le même jour du légitime mariage de François Hebert cultivateur du lieu et de Françoise Couillard. Ont été parrain et marraine, Jacque Goyet et Josette Hebert."[1]

On 20 July 1852, she married Moïse Hébert in Beauharnois. The parish records state that the marriage was between "Moyse Hébert cultivateur fils majeur de Paul Hébert cultivateur et de Josephte Touga de cette paroisse d'une part, et Catherine Hébert fille majeure de François Hébert cultivateur et de Françoise Couillard de cette paroisse d'autre part, . . . . en présence de Paul Hébert, Joachim Gendron, de François Hébert et de Marceline Hébert."[2]

Catherine died 11 April 1869, at the age of 40, and was buried on the 14th, according to the Beauharnois parish records: "Catherine Hébert épouse de Moïse Hébert, charretier [charretier/carter], décédée en cette paroisse le onze du mois courant, âgée de quarante ans."[3]
