Rachel Elmire Hébert was born on 12 May 1839 and was baptized the next day in Sainte-Marie parish in Beauce. She was the daughter of Francois Hébert, farmer, and his wife Hermine Bilodeau. Godparents at Rachel Elmire's baptism were Pierre Hébert and Rachel Hébert. At age 32 Rachel-Elmire married Charles Cyr as his third wife on 30 Nov 1871 in Saint-Sylvestre parish in Lotbinière. Charles died in 1901. At age 66 Rachel-Elmire married Isaac Croteau on 10 Oct 1905 in Saint-Sylvestre parish. Rachel-Elmire died at age 80 on 9 Feb 1920 in Saint-Sylvestre parish.
