Marie Evia Hebert, daughter of Jean Clairfe Hebert and Marie Emelia Rivette, was born on 29 October 1900 in Carencro, Lafayette Parish, LA.1

Evia Hebert (given age 9) was enumerated as the daughter of Claifey Hebert (given age 47) on the 1910 Census, living in St. Landry Parish, LA. She worked as a laborer on the home farm, and could only speak French.2
