Thank you for posting to the profile of Joseph Smith (Smith-153627). Could you please provide a document or citation for a record from the Ancestry tree you noted that establishes the exact death date and place of death for Joseph Smith? Although I have an Ancestry account, the link to this Ancestry Tree comes up as this page is no longer available.
A family tree without sources is not beneficial to the profile. Since there is no source for this data, I am removing it until a citation is provided as to the accuracy of this information.

Thank you for posting to the profile of William Smith (Smith-132530)
Could you please provide a document or citation for a record from the Ancestry tree you noted as to the exact birth date and place as well as death date and place for William Smith? The link to this Ancestry Tree will not open for me to see what source the person might have used.
The information posted for the death date in PA 1824 can not be correct for this particular William Smith as deeds and estate records in South Carolina show that he was deceased in Union County South Carolina prior to 1809 when his land was sold.

Thank you for the data from GEDCOM upload #115910, for the COX family. After a quick look I was able to make the import fit in nicely. The Cox profiles I PM are finished. I'll fix those where Jerry Cox is PM in the next few days.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.
Add the project tag to your Following list to be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.
Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
