Biography

Francis was born in 1833. He was the son of Ephraim Hedges and Alice Hedges nee Drew. He was baptised at Highworth, Wiltshire on 23 March 1833. [1]

Francis was living with his parents and siblings at Aylesbury Street, St James Clerkenwell, Middlesex, England in 1841. [2]

Francis married Ellen Ludgate in Shoreditch, London, England in 1857. [3]

He was living with his wife and children at High Street Hounslow and he was a Draper employing 4 Hands in 1861[4]

He was living with his wife and children in St Pancras, London, Middlesex, England and he was working as a Millner in 1871[5]

He was living with his wife and children at Lady Somerset Road, St Pancras, London, Middlesex and he was working as a Commercial Traveller for Paper Mills in 1881. [6]

In 1891, he was living with his wife and children at Cricklewood Lane, Hendon, Middlesex and he was working as a Manufacturer. [7]

In 1901, he was living with his wife and children at Green Lanes, Southgate, Middlesex and he was working as a Millinery Manufacturer in 1901[8]

Francis died in 1902. [9]
