Robert Hedges of full age, bachelor, Labourer of Purton, and Sarah Durey of full age, spinster of Purton, were married by Banns on 19 Nov 1870 at Purton, Wiltshire. The father of Robert was John Hedges, Labourer. No father's name was recorded for Sarah Durey.[3]
