Conflict: Possibly two Aubrey Hedges or information miswritten.

Death date: According to the attached obituaries, Aubrey Hedges died on Tuesday, which would have been Jun 18, 1968. His supposed headstone (see burial location conflict) at Mount Vernon Baptist Cemetery has the death date as Jun 15, 1968. The Kentucky, Vital Record index has Aubrey B Hedges dying in Marion County, KY (where Lebanon is located) on Jun 18, 1968. The Social Security Death Index however has Aubrey Hedges dying on 15 Jul 1968 and his last place of residence being Willisburg, KY (which matches where he lived in the obituaries). So there is a conflict between what day he died and in what month.

Burial location: There are three Find A Grave profiles for an Aubrey B. Hedges with the dates 28 Apr 1890 - 15 Jun 1968 that are buried in KY, Find A Grave: Memorial #20763779, Find A Grave: Memorial #103360206, and Find A Grave: Memorial #50307421. Two are in Moffett Cemetery (Milton, KY) and one is in Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery (Waddy, KY) (this is the one mentioned in the obituaries). Wife's name: In the attached obituaries one has his wife's name as Laura Taylor Hedges while the other one has the spelling as Loura Taylor Hedges. There is a marriage certificate between an Aubrey Hedges and a Miss Loura/Laura Taylor (the marriage certificate section has the name as Laura while the marriage bond has the name as Loura). There is also a World War II draft card for an Aubrey Brown Hedges that lists his wife as Loura Lee Hedges. Have not confirmed that the marriage or draft card are indeed for this profile's Aubrey Brown Hedges. Williams-5383 22:16, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
