Biography

Robert was born in 1774. He passed away in 1865.

Robert Hedges was baptised on 08 Feb 1774 at Enford, Wiltshire, son of Joseph and Katherine.[1]

Robert Hedges of Bulford and Elizabeth Wiltshire of Bulford were married by Banns on 17 Oct 1799 at Bulford, Wiltshire.[2]

Children:

  • John Hedges (baptised on 13 Feb 1806 at Bulford, Wiltshire, son of Robert and Elizabeth)[3]

Further children were then born to Robert and Elizabeth Hedges at Fisherton Delamere, Wiltshire. One of the children was named Joseph. This may be the same family as the Bulford family.

A Robert Hedges of Bulford was buried on 18 Feb 1865 at Bulford, Wiltshire, age 91.[4]

Hi Kelsey, it looks like this Robert Hedges was baptised at Enford, Wiltshire, and was not the Robert baptised at Purton, Wiltshire. Enford is close to Bulford while Purton is the other side of Wiltshire. There are also records for the Purton man and he stayed in Purton.
