Biography
In the 1861 census, at the age of fifteen, Martha is living with the family of William & Agnes Flumerfelt in Markham, Canada West. Her brother George is living with the family of their uncle Adna Pherrill in Scarborough and her brother Stephen is living with their aunt Sarah Taber and her family, also in Scarborough.
