On 13 Dec 1770 James Hedley (flaxdresser, of Darlington, son of Joshua, of Darlington, deceased & Ann Hedley) married Sarah Gudgeon (daughter of Thomas Gudgeon, of Chelsea, Middlesex & Eleanor, his wife, deceased), married at a Public Assembly of Quakers at Darlington, announced at the Monthly Meeting at Darlington. Witnesses: Thomas Hedley; Caleb Hedley; Jonathan Hedley; Margaret Hedley; Isaac Myers; Mary Hedley

Burial
James Hedley of Low Coniscliffe died 19 of the 5th month 1808 buried in the Friends burying ground at Darlington on 22nd day of 5th month. [3]
