Biography

Jan was born about 1846.

Jan was a Boer soldier in the Anglo Boer war.

He was captured at Paardeberg on 27 Feb 1900 and was sent to St. Helena on the ship "Milwaukee", where he became a prisoner of war (Prisoner number: 3837) in Deadwood Camp. Jan passed away in 1915.

Jan Johannes was born about 1845. He was the son of Jan Johannes Petrus Arnoldus Pienaar Hefer and Johanna Catharina Wilhelmina jacoba Swanepoel. He passed away about 1915. [1]
