"The 1910 Soundex for one of my Jobe kin is a mess, and I think so much so that relatives may not recognize their family. The Index page of the census is 93A, Oregon Co.,, MO. It should not read Jacky Job. He was Jacob Jobe, Jr., the son of Jacob Jobe and Mary Jane Bailey. Perhaps the writer meant Jakey or Jakie. The reason I recognize him is that his wife was my great great aunt. Leona maiden name was Hefner. Actually her name was Leoma, but it says Leona on the census and on her mar. record. He was b. 8 Feb 1863, d. 7 Feb 1911, and was bur. in Cotton Creek Cem. He mar. 15 Oct 1891, Garfield Twp. "
