Private Francis Hegeman served with Dutchess County New York Militia during the American Revolution.
Frank was christened on 13 February 1742 and is presumed to have been born shortly before that date [1]. His parents were Hendrick Hegeman and Catrina de Duytscher. He married Abigail Thorn in 1770. Known children:

It seems strange that no genealogy of so prominent a family as the Hegeman has been published.
