Died of heart attack, apparently. Buried at Glendale Cemetary, louisville, Nebraska. Married Elvira Sprieck and the couple farmed in rural Louisville area until 1946, when they moved to town and he took a job with the Farmers Elevator. In 1960, moved to Omaha and he later retired from the Omaha Steel Works. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Louisville; Eagles Lodge No. 365, Plattsmouth; and a charter member of the Louisville Rod & Gun Club and the Papillion Gun Club.[1]
