Biography

buried Honey Creek Cemetery, Saint Patrick, Lincoln Township, Clark County, Missouri (2) Susan (Heiland) Fahringer was living in Clark County, Missouri, when her father’s estate was probated in 1876. In the 1860 census, George and Susan Fahringer were listed in Hellam Township, York County, Pennsylvania, but in the following censuses of 1870, 1880, and 1900, George (except in 1900, because he had died) and Susan Fahringer were listed in Jackson Township (north of Honey Creek), Clark County, Missouri. In 1870, a son, Samuel, aged 4, had been born in Pennsylvania, while a daughter, Sarah, aged 2 months had been born in Missouri. This brackets their move to Missouri as between 1866 and 1870 (3, 19).

The first wife, Mary, died after 1850, and George Fahringer had married Susan Heiland by 1857, when their first child, Catherine, was born (19, 23, 24)
