Robert was born in 1923. He was the son of Robert Heiland and Olevia Kornbau. He passed away in 1952.

Robert E. Heiland, husband of Margaret R. Heist Heiland, died July 22, 1952 at 8:55am at York Hospital. He was 29. Mr. Heiland was employed as a truck driver by C. J. Helfrich Company. He was a memeber of the Eagle Fire Company, Rex Club and the Veteran Firemens Association.

Robert married Margaret Heist in Towson Maryland November 12, 1941

Surviving in addition to his wife Margaret, are these children, Sandra, Robert, William, Linda and Edward, all at home; his parents, Mr and Mrs Robert S. Heiland, brother Richard G. Heiland and his maternal grandparents, Mr.and Mrs. George Kornbau. Mrs. Heiland is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Gerald Heist.

The Rev. George Harting, pastor of Salem Reformed charge will officate at funeral services at 2 pm Friday from the W. J. Boll Company Funeral Home. Internment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.,
