Biography
He passed away in 1840. Henry & Mary Catherine (Anderson) were married in a double ceremony (Henry's 1/2 sister, Elizabeth married Cornelius Huff) officiated by Christian Sheir in the Lutheran Church in Winchester, VA.
On 2/16/1802 Henry bought 57 1/2 acres on Isaac's Creek, Virginia. (Isaac's Creek is 15 miles long in Frederick County. It rises on Timber Ridge, boundary with Hampshire County. In modern times this has been dammed which created Lake Holiday.) On 9/6/1802 Conrad & 2nd wife, Christiana, deeded Henry 122 acres. Later that same year Henry bought another 20 acres.
He did not receive land under Conrad's will. Henry & Catherine had 9 children.
His grave has never been located[1]
