Biography

Armantine was born in 1886 on February 26 in Madisonville, Louisiana. She grew up in Madisonville with her parents, Casemer and Celine Heisser, and her siblings, Clara, George, Albert, Celina, and August.

Armantine married Joseph Ulysses Baham on November 23 1902 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[1] They stayed in Madisonville until the mid 1920's when they moved to New Orleans.

She gave birth to 12 children: Carroll, Katherine, Alice, Louise, Ulysses, Wilbur, Wilna, Marie, Pearl, Ruby, Kenneth, and Donald. Wilbur and Wilna were twins.

Armantine passed away in 1944 on May 2nd.
