Biography

Henry Heisser was born on 1 March 1814 in Baden, Germany. [1][2]

He married Delila York circa 1842.[2]

He was a carpenter when he and Delila appeared on the census of 21 Aug. 1850 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[3] He was a blacksmith when he and Delila appeared on the census of 12 July 1860 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[4]

He married Mrs. Ann Temaas on 15 Feb. 1870 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[2][5]

He was a manufacturer of lumber when he and Ann appeared on the census of 26 July 1870 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[6] He was a mill owner when he appeared on the census of 16 June 1880 at St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[7]

He died on 2 Feb 1898 at Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA, at age 83 and was buried at Madisonville Cemetery, Main St., Madisonville, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana.[1][2]
