Biography

Bertha is the daughter of Mathias and Maria Elizabeth Reinschieck Heitzman.^[1]She completed eight years of schooling.^[2] She married John Nolan in Davenport when she was 20 years old.^[3] They are the parents of twelve children and spent their entire lives in Davenport, Iowa.^{[4][5][6][7][8][9]}

Bertha died in Davenport at age 72 and is buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport, Iowa.^[10]
