HELEMS, Edmund Hale, ("Minnie"), 72, of New Castle, died Friday, July 9, 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents, McKinley and Mae Helems, two brothers, Mearl and Arnold Helems, a sister, Roxie Abbott. Mr. Helems was a member of New Castle Christian Church and a retired linesman of Craig Botetourt Electric Cooperative. He is survived by his wife, Jean Brizendine Helems; one daughter, Susie Lee and husband Billy; a son, Eddie Helems and wife, Susan; a brother, Eugene Helems and wife, Mae; four grandchildren, one great-grandson. There will be a graveside service at West View Cemetery.
