LEOLARUTH "LEOLA" M. PURK, 77, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday in Fort Wayne. Born in Oxford, Neb.,
She was a cashier at Richards Restaurant in New Haven and the former manager of G.C. Murphy's for 30 years, retiring in 1986. Her husband, Kenneth R., died in 2001.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond and Larry, both of Fort Wayne; two daughters, Charlotte Sarrazine of New Haven and Lynda Spieth of Monroeville; two brothers, Martin Heller of Avilla and Robert Heller of Pleasant Lake; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services at 10 a.m. Friday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven, with calling one hour before services. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorials to Visiting Nurse Service & Hospice or the church.
