Peter Helm married Anna Angelica Engel Jung ( b. ca. 1674, Winnweiller, Rheinland-Pfalz now Germany; she d. 1711 at New York) ca. 1694. Jones points somewhat indistinctly to the Aisenborn chbk (ib.).

Emigration

Pieter Helmer (his original name seems to be Helm), his wife, and 6 children were on Capt. Bouwel's ship in the 2nd party in Holland in 1709. His wife and sons, ages 15, 11, 9, 6, 4, and 3 months, arrived in England later that year.

Children

Peter and Anna's children were orphaned by 1711. I have not found yet who removed the orphan children from New York City to Ulster County, New York. It is possible that the younger siblings accompanied brother Zymon when he was bound to John Rutsen of Kingston.

Peter Helm died ca. 1710 at New York, Province of New York, British Colonial America, aged 31 Years. He was survived by his wife, who died the following year.
