Note: Frederick's father may have had the last name of Kuhl. Frederick, Margaret and all his children have the family name Cool. ^[7]

Note: There is another Margaret, buried with other Helmer family members. Margaret is buried in the Granger plots in the Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls, Herkimer County, New York and there are no dates associated with this burial. Suspect that she is the daughter of Elisabeth Helmer and Chauncey Granger that died young and is not this Margaret Helmer. See Find A Grave: Memorial #31959063. jk (Jun 2022).

Note: Error in KlockConnections family tree. Margaret Helmer is shown to be married to Chauncey Granger; however, the next line indicates that she is living with her sister, Elisabeth and Chauncey Granger in the 1870 census. ^[8] The difference in birth years between Margaret and Elisabeth (sisters) = 12 years and the census lists a 20 year difference. Elisabeth's mother was 33 when Elisabeth was born so, Margaret on the 1870 census is not her mother (died 1843) or her sister (born 1807). This Margaret remains to be identified.
