Using the Take-Down Request Form
If you would like to have your personal information removed from WikiTree, close your account.
If this is not possible, look for the link at the bottom of the person profile on which your personal information appears and click the "PRIVACY TAKE-DOWN REQUEST" link. This link should appear at the bottom of all profiles of living people.
Information for WikiTree Team Members
If anyone asks to have personal information deleted, direct them to follow these instructions. The Take-Down Request form gives us the pertinent information to take action, e.g. anonymization vs. deletion. It also gives us a record in the info@ account so that if anyone asks about this case in the future we can look into what happened. See Closing a User's Account.
