Help:Pre-1700 Projects
Categories: Pre-1700 Projects | Project Leader Help
Creating and editing pre-1700 profiles requires coordinating with members of a project in order to:
- avoid creating duplicate profiles,
- apply the appropriate style rules, and
- know which sources are reliable.
The first step is to figure out which project covers the profiles you want to create or edit. If the list below doesn't answer this for you, click here to ask.

Note that many other projects cover pre-1700 profiles to some degree but are not listed here because there is no expectation that members would need to coordinate with them before creating or editing profiles. These includes, Global Cemeteries, One Name Studies, One Place Studies, and Roll of Honor. See Projects for the full list.
