Help:Stop, Drop, and Roll
Categories: Conflict Help | Courtesy and Community Rules | WikiTree Help
Our community has a silly mnemonic for what to do when another WikiTreer makes you angry: Stop, Drop, and Roll.
Stop
Stop the conversation. "Don't WikiTree While Angry."
Drop
Drop it and come back to it later. Very few problems on WikiTree are emergencies.
When you've cooled off, follow the advice on Resolving a Disagreement.
Roll
If you've come back to it and you still can't communicate with the other person without getting hot under the collar, roll it to someone else for help.
You could ask the help of someone who manages closely-related profiles, a project leader, etc. See Help with Disagreements.
