Her second spouse was Robert Barnes Shepherd of Virginia. He is buried in St. Matthews graveyard, Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas .
She was a witness, along with Robert Barnes Shepherd, at the 1913 marriage of her daughter Elsa Michelson to Paul Aitken Meeres in New Providence, Bahamas.
She passed away at age 82 in the Bahamas. Her cause of death was listed as "shock from accident."
