Biography

Edward Hemperly was enumerated at The Twenty-ninth District, Fayette County, Georgia for the November 16, United States Census, 1850. He was noted as born 1798 in Virginia. He is shown to be a farmer with $1450 of value in real estate as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are female Malinda Hemperly, male A S Hemperly, female Jane Hemperly, male Joel M Hemperly, female Nancy Hemperly, male Edward Y Hemperly and male Martin Hemperly.^[1]
