Biography

David was born in Big Creek, Georgia to Henry Hemrick and Elizabeth Gilbert.

He married twice. His first marriage was to Eliza Stephens. They had one child. His second marriage was to Elizabeth Robinson in 1905. They had two daughters.

The 1935 Florida State Census enumerates David with wife, Annie living in Hillsborough, Florida. Living with the were daughter, Dorothy and Gene West, son of Marie Hemrick West.

David died in 1940 in Hillsborough, Florida. He was buried in Hackney Cemetery in Riverview, Hillsborough, Florida.
