Loretta was born on 27 June 1892 [1] in Buffalo, Erie, New York. [2] She was the daughter of Abner Hendershot and Mary Call. Loretta likely married William Smith around 1913 before the birth of their first child, Doris in 1914. [3] She died on 14 March 1977 in Kenmore, Erie, New York [4] and was buried in Elmlawn Cemetery in Tonawanda, Erie, New York. [5]
