Biography

The son of Ralph Hendershot and Julia (Miller) Hendershot, Robert was born at the family farm in Macon Township in 1841.[citation needed] He lived there with his family.[1][2][3] Robert Hendershot married Mary McClue (1854-1926), the daughter of Robert McClue and Margaret Pulver, marrying in Washtenaw County, Michigan on March 11, 1886[4] and having three children together.

They farmed in Macon Township.[5][6][7] Widowed, Robert Hendershot passed away in Macon Township at the age of 85[8] and is burie at Macon Cemetery in Macon, Michigan.[9]
