He married Margaret (Ellis) Hendershot, the daughter of Abner Ellis and Margarette Aten, marrying in Tecumseh Township, Michigan on September 5, 1883[2] and having two daughters together. Sevillian and his family made their home in Tecumseh Township, farming.[3] By 1910, they lived and farmed in Adrian, Michigan.[4] By 1920, he lived in Madison Township, Michigan, farming on his own account.[5] By 1930, he lived in Palmyra Township, Michigan, farming.[6]
Sevillian Hendershot passed away in Adrian Township, Michigan[7][8] at the age of 76 and is buried with his family at Brookside Cemetery in Tecumseh, Michigan.[9]
