Biography

Daniel was born about 1750.

30 Jan 1787 Campbell County Va, DB2, pg 177: Savage Bailey to Daniel Henderson (both of Campbell) for 70lbs, 170a on the West Side of the Falling River on Robbins Branch, adj. Moss, Thomas Daugherty (now in possession of Thomas Marshall), Elizabeth Bailey's line, to Robbins Branch, to beginning.

1788 Daniel taxed in Campbell County on his personal property. Doubtful that he actually lived in the county as he was not listed in the white poll.

1789 Daniel Henderson taxed in Campbell County VA. (never polled)

1790 Daniel Henderson taxed with 1 black 12-16.

1791 " with 2 blacks < 12

1793 " apparently his last tax listing

1794 Agness Henderson shows up in PP tax lists starting in 1794.

1798 No Hendersons taxed in southern section of Campbell County.

10 May 1799 Campbell County VA Deed Book 5, pg 143: Daniel Henderson and Mary his wife of Halifax to John Lain of Campbell: 50lbs for 170a on Robbins Branch of Falling River, bounded by: Henry Witloe, Joe Sutton, David Talbot, Samuel Moore, Mr. Mason and Freeman Moore. Wits: Saml Pannill, Wm Patrick, William J. Lane, Saml Armstead.

1799 John Lane takes ownership of the land listed above. Deed acknowledged.
